In 2007, Hugo joined forces with well-known Latin dance instructor and performer Julia Gonzalez, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience from her years teaching and performing in Sydney - the capital of Salsa and Latin dance in Australia.

Hugo and Julia are extremely sought after and respected Latin dancers and personalities within the Australian Salsa community. They are considered Adelaide’s representatives, having been invited to perform and teach at Australia's and the world's most prestigious Latin dance events.
