Led by Colombian percussionist Hugo Salcedo, SALCEDO performs an opulent mix of Cuban and Colombian rhythms, Caribbean breezes and New York vibes. They pay homage to the spirit of old, hard-core Salsa, and shake it up with the sounds of today.
 
SALCEDO has performed at some of the most prestigious Latin events around Australia and the world including the Malaysia World Salsa Congress, New Zealand Salsa Congress, Sydney Salsa Congress, Darling Harbour Latin Fiesta, Adelaide Salsa Festival and the Adelaide Cabaret Festival to name a few.
 
SALCEDO have had the immense honour of accompanying world-class musicians Edwin Bonilla (USA) and Tito Puente Jr (USA) in their Australian tours.
 
They have also been the support act for some of the world's most celebrated artists including Cuban songstress Omara Portuondo from the Buena Vista Social Club, Jose Feliciano (USA), West African vocalist Angelique Kidjo, Colombian Salsa band La Sonora Carruseles, the kings of Merengue/Hip Hop Fulanito (USA) and Bachata Sensations 4EVER (USA).
